Throughout 2017 Girlguiding Staffordshire celebrated its 100th birthday. We had a whole host of events and activities to mark this momentous occasion. To read more about what we got up to visit our Staffordshire Celebrates pages.
At the beginning of every month throughout 2017 we placed a new challenge on our Facebook page, app and website as part of our 100th birthday celebrations. Check out the fabulous photos sent in by our units as they completed the challenges.
In Staffordshire we pride ourselves on providing excellent training opportunities for all of our volunteers from Girlguiding’s mandatory courses such as ‘A Safe Space’ through to courses such as ‘Campfire Singing’ to help enhance the programme we offer to our members.
‘#In my element’ will be a fun filled week, jam packed with activities. Whether you are ‘In your element’ camping, standing on a stage, abseiling, or badge swapping, start your adventure with friends both old and new at Unity 2018.
Welcome to Girlguiding Staffordshire
Girlguiding Staffordshire provides a unique girl-only space, vital for personal and social development. It’s a safe, inclusive space where girls can be comfortable just being themselves. Guiding Staffordshire offers a unique opportunity for girls to acquire leadership skills, to become self-reliant and to develop a sense of well-being and self-worth.
Our sections consist of Rainbows (5-7 years), Brownies (7-10 years), Guides (10-14 years) and The Senior Section (14-25 years).
