Eunice Bowler has completed 50 years membership of Burton-on-Trent Trefoil Guild and is currently the longest serving member, of the longest existing guild, in Staffordshire. Burton Guild will celebrate 75 years in 2018.

County Chairman, Chris Blenkinsopp, is pictured presenting Eunice with the Trefoil Guild Service and Recognition Badge and Certificate . Eunice was a Brownie and Guide at St Chad’s Burton, then a Ranger at All Saints and also a Sea Ranger. She was Brown Owl at St Chad’s for 3 years before bringing up her family and was also a tester for Brownies. Eunice was enrolled into Trefoil Guild on Thinking Day 1967 and later served as Chairman and on the committee.

She enjoys attending Trefoil meetings and events and likes the variety of the programme and the friendliness of the members. She says she looks forward to Trefoil and doesn’t like missing anything as it is an important part of her life. As well as Trefoil, Eunice enjoys indoor bowling and English folk dancing and attends a monthly lunch club at her church.

She is very proud of her long association with Burton Trefoil Guild.
