1st Stapenhill Brownies have worked incredibly hard over the past term to prepare for their 25th birthday party. They made their own invitations and flower arrangements to decorate the tables. They also made paper bead jewellery, learnt to thread ribbon through a sparkly apron and sewed flower buttons on the pockets as well as making tiaras all to wear on the day to serve their guests.

They also helped to prepare a tea of chocolate spread sandwiches (among other things), fruit kebabs and biscuits. A professional magician entertained everyone and at the end of the afternoon the girls sang songs they had learnt especially and everyone sang happy birthday and blew out the candles on a large Rainbow birthday cake.

Visitors included the Division Commissioner, the leaders who formed the unit back in July 1991 as well as parents and “old Rainbows”. A great afternoon was had by everyone.
