Stone division recently took over the entire of tenpin in Stafford to help raise funds for one of their young leaders who is heading to India as part of a region international adventure!
Young member, Ava-May Brown, booked the venue and was joined by over 80 Girlguiding and Scouting members from across Stone division who all enjoyed a night of fun and light-hearted competition.
The event was a huge success and Ava-May raised an impressive £553 towards her overall target of £3,100. Speaking after the event she said: “I am extremely grateful for all the support my division has given me at this bowling event. Everyone was eager to play and I had positive feedback from all the leaders”.
We love hearing how our young members are fundraising for international trips. If you have a fundraising story to tell us then please email county.projects@girlguidingstaffordshire.org.uk with the details.
