Girls from 1st Stone Guides have been presented with their BP Challenge Award Badges and certificates at a local Awards evening held recently in Stone. This is the highest award that you can be awarded as a Guide and all of the girls had completed challenges over a period of two years.
Activities ranged from : taking part in The Race for Life, taking up a new hobby, investigating Fair Trade, passing their Agility Badge, helping plant trees at Trentham and the final section of the Award was to take part in a residential weekend, working alongside Guides from across the County. The girls certainly had lots of fun taking part in the challenges and even though it was hard work at times they all enjoyed doing the Award. A lovely evening was enjoyed by the girls, their families, guests and the younger Guides.
