Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Leaders and parents all joined in with the fun of last month’s Carnival in Stone by entering the walking section of the parade.
Rainbows dressed up as beautiful magic Rainbow Fairies (awarded 3rd prize), Brownies displayed fabulous emojis (2nd prize) and 3rd Stone Guides wended their way along the procession route under their magnificent and colourful ‘Chinese Dragon’.
Anna West, Stone’s District Commissioner commented, “A lot of hard work and effort has gone into all the Guiding entries and they all looked fantastic. It was clear for everyone to see that the girls enjoyed themselves. I am very proud of everyone who took part, not forgetting parents and helpers who came along and entered into the spirit of the event. Thank you as ever to the festival committee who worked so hard all week to put on such a wonderful week of events for us all in Stone.”
