In April, leaders from Stone & Eccleshall division paid a surprise visit to 96-year-old former Guide leader, Cath Becket, to present her with the Division President’s Award.
As well as being a retired Guide leader, Cath was also a helper with the Scout and Guide band and for over 25 years has been the badge secretary to all guiding groups in and around Stone.
Jill Piggott, division commissioner for Stone & Eccleshall, presented the award and spoke of Cath’s dedication, hard work, support and continuing enthusiasm and love of guiding.
