1st Derrington Guides were set a constellation challenge to mark Earth Day on 28th March.

Guide leader, Rusty, asked her Guides to make decorate biscuits that helped them learn the different constellations. They were told if they didn’t have biscuits, or cake decorations to put on them, they could use anything available to learn about the constellations. One used Jaffa Cakes instead of chocolate biscuits, one made lots of biscuits and showed them in the correct shape and another made lots of cakes decorated with chocolate drops and finally, one used milk bottle sweets as no cakes/biscuits available at the time.

What a great idea!
