Would you like to take your Brownies away for a sleepover experience but don’t yet hold a Going Away With Licence? Look no further! Girlguiding Staffordshire are holding a Camp for Brownies and their leaders who would like to experience a sleepover camp.
We are inviting leaders who don’t hold a Going Away with Guiding residential licence to bring 6 Brownies and a fellow leader/unit helper to an overnight camp. You will be sharing a large 8/10-man tent with 2 sleeping pods – 1 for Brownies and one for your two leaders/unit helpers. The Brownies will be the responsibility of their own leaders for the duration of the camp. At least one of your adults must hold a Leadership Qualification to take Brownies on this residential.
Tents will be pitched ready for when you arrive. You will be responsible for settling your Brownies off to sleep at night.
A leaders meeting will be held on Tuesday 25th April, 7:30pm at Hixon to answer all of your questions and where you will be issued with a kit list, programme and menu.
When: 9th-10th or 10th-11th June 2023 (you can choose to sleepover on either the Friday or Saturday night). Times TBC.
Where: Copeland Cottage Camp & Activities Centre, Maer, ST5 5EE
Cost: £35 per Brownie, £20 per leader – cost covers site fees, food, activities and a badge for all attendees.

A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required per person by 1st March 2023.
Balance will be due by 1st May 2023
