This is a full face-to-face 1st Response course covering all three sessions in 1 day.
There is also now an e-learning aspect to the 1st Response course and this can be completed either before of after the full training course. Your GO record will not be updated until all the sessions plus the e-learning are complete. The e-learning can be found on the learning platform https://learning.girlguiding.org.uk
Once complete, your 1st Response training will be valid for 3 years. You’ll need to redo the full training course and e-learning every 3 years in order to make sure your training is up to date.
There is a cost of £10 for 1st Response training. This is a legitimate unit expense and should be claimed back from your unit.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that when booking you provide details of an emergency contact who can be contacted during the course if needed (not yourself). This person should be informed that you have nominated them as your emergency contact.
