The new 1st Response Syllabus is 6 hours long and it will be delivered in three 2-hour sessions over 3 consecutive Thursday evenings. These will be 11th, 18th & 25th February 2021.
Following the virtual training, members must also meet a trainer in-person to complete the practical elements. Once you have completed the virtual sessions we will contact you when in-person training is allowed again to arrange your practical element.
There is also now an e-learning aspect to the 1st Response course and this can be completed either before of after the full training course. Once complete, your 1st Response training will be valid for 3 years. You’ll need to redo the full 6 hour training course and e-learning every 3 years in order to make sure your training is up to date. There is no longer the option of a short ‘refresher’ course.
The Zoom joining details will be sent to you a couple of days before the first session.
