This session is open to all volunteers in units to build a better understanding of unit accounts, maintaining records and the Girlguiding finance policy.
It is also one of the compulsory webinars for the new Leader Development Programme so any Leaders In Training are encouraged to attend. Participants need to demonstrate their involvement in the session in order for it to be added to their Go record. Sessions is also open to all leaders who wish to update their knowledge.
This is a virtual event and you will be sent the Zoom code in your booking confirmation as soon as you have booked. Throughout the virtual session we prefer you to put your camera on – it is much nicer for the trainers to see participants as well as you seeing them. We understand that there may be reasons for your cameras to be off but if you don’t have your camera on for any reason, then you must take an active part in the training either by speaking or by regularly entering responses into the chat. Trainers need to know that you have understood the training and, if they can’t see your physical reactions, then we can only try to understand by your responses. It is difficult to mark someone as having completed the training if they have not had any interaction with you.
Please ensure that when booking you provide details of an emergency contact who can be contacted during the course if needed (not yourself). Please note that an emergency contact is still required for virtual events.
