We are looking for a team of volunteers to come and help us to get Manor Park ready for the 2023 season. No experience is necessary and we will be doing a general garden clean up and a checking and cleaning of the boats.
Please bring wellies, clothes and gloves that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. A change of clothes is highly recommended!
The main tasks of the day will be:
* moving boats out of the container to their normal storage location for the season;
* jet-washing the boats to clean them as they come out of the container;
* cleaning the bell boats using scrapers if time & numbers allow;
* cutting up and removing old buoyancy aids plus test the new ones.
We are looking to supply a burger bun or equivalent as well as a cuppa to all of our volunteers on the day!
