Can you help us to grow Guiding in Staffordshire?
We’d love as many people as possible to take part in our Sunflower Challenge. Between now and the end of May you can order one of our Sunflower Challenge kits. You will receive a badge, a bag of seeds and a couple of postcards.
The aim is that you will share the seeds and a postcard with a friend and you both grow some sunflowers and display your postcard along side them to help promote Girlguiding in your local community. Perhaps you’ll display them in your front garden our outside your meeting place. We’d then love you to share your photos with us of your beautiful sunflowers.
We’ve also created a colouring sheet that you can colour and display in your window to let people know you’re taking part. You can download it here: Sunflower Colouring Page
Maybe if lots of members of your unit are taking part you could have a competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower in your unit?
Kits will be sent out from the end of April to give you plenty of time to sow your seeds.
