Our Great Guiding Bear Hunt virtual sleepover takes place on 1st & 2nd August 2020.

We have lots of activities planned as well as virtual meetings*, a campfire and of course a badge! Although the activities will be aimed at Rainbow and Brownie ages anyone can join in the fun.

*virtual meetings are for Girlguiding Staffordshire Rainbows, Brownies and leaders who registered before the deadline!
FAQs
Is there a cost to take part?
There is no cost to take part in the virtual sleepover. However, if you would like to order a badge then they are £2 each. Please complete the form at the bottom of this page to order your badges. Payment can be made by PayPal or by cheque. The default at the bottom of the page is PayPal – just click the drop down box to change it to cheque if this is how you wish to pay.
If paying by cheque please make cheques payable to “Staffordshire Guides” and send it to Girlguiding Staffordshire, St Peter’s School Site, Church Lane, Hixon, Staffordshire, ST18 OPS. Please write ‘Bear Hunt’ on the back of the cheque along with the booking name for reference.
When will I receive the activity pack?
The pack will be sent out on 24th July which will explain how the sleepover works and all the different activities you can do.
My daughter is a Guide/Ranger can she still take part?
Yes! The activities in the pack will be aimed at girls aged 5-10 years and will include elements that can be signed off towards their theme awards. However, anyone can take part in the sleepover and join in the activities. Guides and Rangers will not be invited to take part in the Zoom meetings.
I’m not on Facebook, is this a Facebook event only?
No, we will also be streaming our opening and closing ceremonies and virtual campfire on YouTube. Details will be sent with your activity pack.
I don’t know which Division my daughter is in!
All of units belong to one of 17 divisions across Staffordshire. If you’re unsure which division your daughter’s unit is part of then please ask your unit leader or email county.admin@girlguidingstaffordshire.org.uk
