Over Easter 2021, a group of Girlguiding Staffordshire members aged 18-30 will travel to Finland to join the Finnish Guides and Scouts on a large winter camp. They will learn to live in the cold, with a night in a snow cave, some snow hikes but also an opportunity to share some activities with our Finnish brothers and sisters in guiding and scouts.
This adventure hopes to offer an opportunity to develop your own leadership style as well as survival skills in the arctic winter!
Interested in this International Adventure? We will be holding an information and selection weekend from 3rd to 5th April 2021 for anyone who might be interested.
Note: Some members have already applied and have their place booked on the April weekend. After a taster weekend members will be able to make a decision with the team as to whether this is the right trip for them.
