3rd Stone Guides and 1st Stone Rangers are delighted to celebrate the incredible achievement of four Guides and one Ranger who have all successfully completed their prestigious Gold awards.
The Gold award is the highest award a Guide or Ranger can achieve and represents years of dedication, commitment, personal development, and adventure. To earn the award, members complete a wide range of challenges that develop leadership, life skills, teamwork, community involvement, and confidence.
Each of these inspiring young women has shown determination, resilience, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work but also the encouragement and support of their leaders, families, and fellow unit members.
Although this chapter of their Girlguiding journey has come to an end, an exciting new one is just beginning.
The four Guides will soon be taking the next step by becoming young leaders, where they will support local Rainbow and Brownie units. As role models for younger members, they will help girls discover new skills, build confidence, and enjoy everything Girlguiding has to offer while developing their own leadership experience.
Meanwhile, the Gold award Ranger is preparing for an unforgettable adventure as she travels to India with Girlguiding this July. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow her to experience a new culture, build international friendships, and represent Girlguiding on a global stage. Alongside this exciting journey, she is also beginning to work towards gaining her leader qualification, ensuring she can continue inspiring future generations of girls for many years to come as well as supporting 3rd Stone Guides as a young leader.
Congratulations to all five on this outstanding achievement—we wish you every success in the exciting journeys ahead.
