Many Rainbow and Brownie units around the county have benefitted from the free taster session that Staffordshire Cricket have offered to units. The taster sessions are not only a fabulous introduction to cricket for the girls but they are also a fun and engaging activity getting the girls active and the session can be run both indoors and outdoors.
Taking this partnership forward, Staffordshire cricket can now provide three different sessions and have extended their offer to Guides as well as Brownies and Rainbows. What’s more, all of the sessions are funded by Staffordshire Cricket and so are completely free of charge to Girlguiding Staffordshire units. The sessions are detailed below. Taster Session – 60-90 minutes
Available for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
All girls receive a free badge.
All Stars – 4 Hours
Suitable for Rainbows & Brownies.
All girls receive a bag, bat, t-shirt and ball.
Dynamos – 4 Hours
Suitable for Guides.
All girls receive a sports top.
