We have a group from Girlguiding Staffordshire taking part in the Midlands Region ‘Fairy Tales and Scary Tales’ challenge this summer.
To help with their fundraising for the trip they recently held a sponsored climb to climb the height of Everest.. Seven girls climbed a total of 3450 metres at Kilnworx Climbing Centre in Burslem. The girls were exhausted by the end of the day but thrilled that they’d managed to complete their challenge as well as helping raise funds for their trip.
We wish them lots of luck for the ‘Fairy Tale and Scary Tales’ challenge and will keep you update on their progress.
