Girlguiding Staffordshire has 2,000 amazing volunteers spread across every town and village in the county. If you thought being a volunteer was all about campfires and badges you’d be very mistaken (although we do that too). Being a volunteer for Girlguiding Staffordshire is about empowering girls and giving them new experiences. It about being a role model and helping girls reach their full potential. Who wouldn’t want to do that for tomorrow’s women?

However, it’s also about doing something for you. Our leaders develop fabulous friendships, they push their own boundaries and learn new skills. One week you may be white water rafting the next singing with 10,000 girls in Wembley Arena! Many of our leaders also take part in our international travel opportunities.

On this page you can read about just some of the latest adventures that our volunteers have been having.

If you’d like to join us as a volunteer then please sign up via our national website.

Don’t forget if you’re a volunteer in Staffordshire we want to hear all about what you’re up to. Complete the ‘Submit An Article’ form that can be found at the bottom of the page. Remember to include at least one good quality photograph too.
