Welcome to the International Team

The international team is made up of the county’s International Adviser, 16 Division International Advisers and one Trefoil Guild member.

As a group we are committed to ensuring that girls in the county are offered the opportunity of an international experience. We plan and decide the county’s trips. This information is usually published mid-February and a selection event for the trips on offer the following year will take place normally in April.

We are not only here to plan the trips but we are here to offer support and advice to any leader wanting to take their own girls on an overseas adventure, whether that is a three day Disneyland Paris trip or two weeks in India.

The team will arrange mentors and will work with leaders to gain their travelling abroad module. We also have a member of the training team on our team and we are able to deliver the travelling abroad training for those who require it.

We meet two or three times a year and hold the county’s ‘Bon Voyage’ and ‘Debrief’ evenings.

Information about national and Midlands Region opportunities are also issued to Division International Advisers who will forward to the girls and leaders in their division.

We have international advisers in most divisions. The advisers are notified about Midland region opportunities, decide and agree county trips, plan and run the international marquee at Unity. The also help with county selection events and will run their own division selection events. If anyone needs assistance with international events these ladies will help you.
