There aren’t many people in Girlguiding Staffordshire that don’t know Glenda Lockley, Newcastle Division’s President and shop manager for Newcastle’s trading depot.
Therefore we were thrill to hear that Glenda has been the very first recipient of a new award from Girlguiding Midlands for ‘exceptional service and commitment’. Her list of achievements of the past 55 years of service were quite extraordinary. She has held roles including district and division commissioner, county archivist and badge secretary.
Glenda couldn’t be a more deserving person for this new award. Congratulations Glenda.
