Nearly 140 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and their leaders in Threapwood enjoyed a truly “out of this world” experience earlier this month.
The girls went into space for the day, with a visit from the Wonder Dome, an inflatable dome where they learned all about the wonders of the galaxy.
They also made space-themed crafts, sang songs and enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the grounds of Great Wood Community Primary School in Tean before going home with – what else – a specially designed badge!
The division are hugely grateful to Great Wood Primary School for letting them use the building for the event, and also to the Trefoil Guild for going along to help out on the day.
