It seems that all the sun that shone on us for Sparkle has finally come to an end. Having heard the weather forecast for tomorrow and Saturday we have consulted with the film company. As the field is already very wet the additional heavy rain forecast means that it would not be sensible to go ahead with this outdoor event.
Therefore Saturday’s Maureen, Mamma Mia and Me event is postponed.
We have not lost any money and a new date will be available as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience but we want this to be an enjoyable event for everyone and having a picnic in the rain with wellies on was not what we had hoped for.
We are really sorry about this but I am sure that you will agree that this is the right decision.
