A massive “well done” to Threapwood Rangers who have been collecting donations of period products to give to women in need around the Cheadle area.
The girls asked for donations from the rest of the division, from friends, parents and leaders’ work colleagues and also registered with a website that sells products to charities at a highly discounted rate.
The collection surpassed everyone’s expectations and the girls are now busy packaging up the products to give to the local women’s refuge, to Cheadle foodbank, schools, village halls and community centres.
The Rangers are pictured with just some of the donations they received.
If your unit has been involved in a community project then please send details and photos to county.projects@girlguidingstaffordshire.org.uk.
