Making the impossible, possible

Pigs might fly is Girlguiding Staffordshire’s enabling fund. Applications can be made to the fund on behalf of both young members and active adult members. The aim of the fund is to make events that may seem financially impossible, possible for individuals.

For young members

This fund is not for group applications but for applying on behalf of individual girls. The leader of a unit or an adult member of Girlguiding Staffordshire can apply to the fund on behalf of an individual (4 – 18 years old) who they feel would not be able to participate in a future event without financial assistance. The application must meet all the criteria on the application form.

For adult members

This fund is not for group applications but for a district/division/section/commissioner from within the county to apply on behalf of an individual active adult member (over 18) who they feel would not be able to participate in a future event without financial assistance. This fund is available when all other options in the county and local areas have been addressed. The application must meet all the criteria on the application form.

Fundraising badges are available from the county shop and donations to the fund can be made through the county office.
