Earlier in the summer, 2nd Beacon (St Peters) Rainbows unit made congratulation cards for the Royal Wedding and were thrilled with the replies they got.
Rainbow Leader, Lorraine said: “I expected that we would maybe receive a letter back thanking us for our letter and cards so imagine my surprise when what we actually received back was an envelope with a lovely letter AND individual envelopes inside addressed to the girls with a card in and Kensington Palace on the envelope. It was so exciting giving the girls their own Royal mail! The idea that a princess had written to them is magical.”
Now that was a wow factor, well done Kensington Palace!
