In the days leading up to Christmas a band of merry helpers were out in force with Santa raising monies for local charities. The helpers this year included Stone and Eccleshall Rangers. The weather was rather unpredictable at times but the people of Stone were, as ever, very generous. The monies collected will be split between local charities. Mara West, aged 16 said “that even though the weather was awful and we had very soggy feet and jeans, people were very generous and they enjoyed seeing Santa”
