Girlguiding Staffordshire’s Trefoil Guild recently celebrated their 80th anniversary in style. The ladies hosted a delightful 40s and 50s themed celebration, transporting attendees back to the nostalgic eras of swing music, victory rolls, and timeless fashion.

The event, held at The Upper House in Barlaston, was a resounding success, bringing together members from across the county. Throughout the afternoon, the atmosphere was amplified by a live performance from a local singer who got everyone up and dancing around to songs from the time, as well a scavenger hunt and a picture quiz.

Additionally, celebration offered an opportunity for members to reflect on the Trefoil Guild Group’s rich history and their contribution to the local community. The group has been an enduring force, supporting Girlguiding initiatives, fostering personal growth, and promoting social responsibility.

The 40s and 50s themed celebration was a testament to the Trefoil Guild Group’s dedication to creating memorable experiences for its members and the wider community. The event served as a vibrant reminder of the group’s unwavering commitment to the principles of Girlguiding, fostering personal growth, friendship, and community service.
