2nd Stone Brownies recently held a afternoon tea party for their mums and specially invited guests. The girls had worked hard in advance: writing out invitations, making scones, decorating glass vases (to be given as a Mother’s day gifts) and making sandwiches. On the day itself they not only served their guests but entertaining them too in song, dance and music!
Sophie Goodwin, a 2nd Stone Brownie commented: “I loved looking after my mum and I enjoyed singing even though I was nervous.”
Brown Owl ,Helen Whetnall commented: “The Brownies were wonderful hostesses to their mums and guests. They well and truly earned their Hostess Badge. I am very proud of them.”
