1st Stone Guides recently enjoyed a bake off with a difference. The Guides stayed away for the weekend and enjoyed activities such as making their own cake stands out of recycled materials, baking up batches of delicious cakes, decorating spoons and even making their own bunting!
Assistant Leader, Anna West commented that “the girls were a dream to take away, had loads of fun and we saw some very talented bakers of the future.”
Clare Taylor, leader in charge added, ”It was also good preparation for the guides who will attending the Unity international guide camp to be held this summer in Staffordshire”.
Twelve year old, Abbie Sutton commented ,”I really enjoyed the baking and I loved performing in our very own talent show in the evening”.
