Are you missing Guides? Then why not join 1st Staffordshire Virtual Guide unit? We have great fun allowing Guides from all across the county to experience virtual guiding. We do a mixture of programme and non-programme activities, allowing Guides to work towards their theme awards as well as offering girls a space to socialist with old friends and make new ones!
There is some fantastic work going on across Staffordshire to keep the Guiding spirit alive until we can resume our face to face meetings.
However, we recognise and understand that for various reasons regular Guide meetings are unable to be a priority for some of us right now, including for many key workers, members who are supporting family or members who feel they need to take a break from technology due to working at home.
Based on feedback from the various division ‘virtual sleepovers’, as well as the county ‘Wild Night In’ we do know that girls have found virtual Guiding to be a really positive influence during the lockdown, offering a break from school work and bringing families together.
