At Girlguiding Tamworth’s recent World Thinking Day celebrations they took the opportunity to remember their late President Pearl. Pearl’s daughters Debbie & Jackie joined them for the afternoon to celebrate her time in Girlguiding.
Pearl was a cherished member of Girlguiding for over 60 years, dedicating her life to mentoring unit leaders and young women in Tamworth. Her guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support were invaluable to many, and she served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In memory and gratitude for her years of service and immense contributions, the division came together to honour her legacy. As a token of their appreciation and to celebrate the beautiful impact she had on all their lives, they sang “Edelweiss,” a song that holds a special place in the division’s hearts.
